Strengthening the Competence of Education, Islamic Education Management Goes to NIE Singapore

Singapore, Monday, July 22nd, 2024 Islamic Education Management Master Program (S2) of Postgraduate Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung visited National Institute of Education, Singapore. The purpose of this visit is to do a Research Collaboration, Student Affairs And Upskill Part-Time Courses. The theme of this event is Strengthening the Competence of Managers in Islamic Educational Institutions. This activity was attended by 43 (fourty three) students of S2 MPI, Dr. Hj. Heni Noviarita, M.Si as Vice Director of Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Dr. Sovia Mas Ayu, M.A as Head of Islamic Education Management Master Program, Dr. Junaidah, M.A as Secretary of Islamic Education Management Master Program, Dr. Oki Dermawan, M.Pd as a Lecturer of Islamic Education Management Master Program. Dr. Mardiana Abu Bakar as the Head of Curriculum and Teaching Program NIE are warmly welcomed the arrival the members of Islamic Education Management Master Program. There were several series of events, starting with visiting Learning Centre Tour of NIE, Presentation of the Representative of Islamic Education Management Master Program Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung, Presentation of M.Ed Program NIE, Discussion also Question and Answer Session. The activity starts from learning centre tour at NIE Singapore. Then, Dr. Hj. Heni as Vice Director of Postgraduate UIN RIL give a speech as the representative of Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung. She expresses her gratitude for welcoming her members at NIE Singapore. Dr. Oki Dermawan, M.Pd Resti Andiri and Heri Risdianto as the representative from Islamic Education Management Master Program present their paper with the theme Eco Campus Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung, Eco Madrasah, Eco Mosque, Green Madrasah and Rubbish Management at SD IT Permata Bunda 3 Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. The next, a brief presentasion from Dr. Mardiana Abu Bakar as the representative of NIE, she gives an information about M.Ed Program at National Institute Education (NIE) Singapore. Followed by a sharing session in the form of discussion between Islamic Education Management and NIE Singapore. There are a question and answer session to all of the participant to find out more in-depth information between the two parties. This collaborative visit are expected to be a beginning of closer cooperation of both parties and to create the best education in each country. (TWI)

Dua Dosen Pascasarjana Hadir Dalam Konferensi Internasional dan Mukernas VI ADHKI di Manado

Manado, 2-5 Juli 2024, Program Doktor (S3) dan Magister (S2) Hukum Keluarga Islam Pascasarjana UIN Raden Intan Lampung, yang diwakili sekretaris masing-masing program, Dr. Hj. Linda Firdawaty, M.H dari S3 HK dan Dr. Abdul Qodir Zaelani, MA dari S2 HK mengikuti kegiatan Musyawarah Kerja Nasional VI dan The Fourth International Conference on Islamic Family Law (The 4th ICoIFL of ADHKI 2024) dan The Second Sharia International Conference (The 2nd SINCe 2024) di Sintesa Peninsula Hotel, Manado, Sulawesi Utara. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan empat (4) hari dan dimulai dengan Pembukaan atau Opening Ceremony yang dibuka oleh Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rajafi, M.H.I selaku Rektor IAIN Manado. Di hari kedua dilanjutkan dengan Plenary Session atau sesi panel yang diisi dengan 4 narasumber, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rajafi, M.H.I sebagai Keynote Speaker, Prof. Philip Buckley dari MgGill University sebagai pembicara kedua, Prof. Madya Dr. Ahmad Sunawari Long dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia sebagai pembicara ketiga, dan Prof. Dr. H. Khoiruddin Nasution, M.A dari Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta yang juga Ketua Umum ADHKI sebagai pembicara keempat. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh kurang lebih 100 peserta yang berasal dari berbagai Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) dan Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Swasta (PTKIS). Dilanjutkan dengan Parallel Session atau Sesi Paralel yang di breakdown menjadi 6 ruangan paralel. Dr. Hj. Linda Firdawaty, M.H dan Dr. Abdul Qodir Zaelani, MA hadir sebagai presenter dengan mempresentasikan artikel yang akan dibahas oleh discussant dan reviewer. Tidak hanya sebagai presenter, Dr. AQZ juga hadir sebagai discussant dan editor in chief pada jurnal mitra ADHKI. Selain mengikuti kegiatan International Conference, Dr. Linda dan Dr. AQZ juga hadir untuk mengikuti Musyawarah Kerja Nasional VI. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari beberapa rangkaian acara; Arahan Ketua Umum, Laporan Bendahara Umum ADHKI, Laporan Komisi-Komisi, dan Pembacaan Hasil Mukernas VI. (TWI)

Jalin Kerja Sama Internasional, Pascasarjana dan Prodi S2 PMI Tanda Tangani Perjanjian dengan WAFIQ Malaysia

Rabu, 10/07/2024, Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dengan The International Women’s Alliance for Family Institution and Quality Education (WAFIQ) Malaysia. Diikuti oleh Program Magister (S2) Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam juga menandatangani Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) atau Nota Kesepakatan dengan WAFIQ Malaysia. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). MoU ditanda tangani oleh Dr. Hj. Heni Noviarita selaku Wakil Direktur Pascasarjana UIN RIL dengan Prof. Dr. Rafidah Hanim Mokhtar selaku Presiden WAFIQ. Dilanjutkan dengan MoA ditanda tangani oleh Dr. Fitri Yanti, M.A selaku Ketua Prodi S2 PMI dengan Presiden WAFIQ, Malaysia. Kerjasama ini mencakup ruang lingkup penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dalam rangka terbentuknya pribadi yang excellent, compassion dan service berdasar prinsip kemitraan dan saling memberi manfaat. Dengan adanya pendandatangan MoU dan MoA antara Pascasarjana UIN RIL dan Program Magister (S2) PMI dengan WAFIQ Malaysia dapat terealisasi sesuai dengan ruang lingkup yang telah disepakati oleh kedua belah pihak. Inter-Country Collaboration, Islamic Community Development Master Program Expanding Knowledge at WAFIQ Malaysia

Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 Islamic Community Development Master Program (S2) of Postgraduate Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung visited The International Women’s Alliance for Family Institutions and Quality Education (WAFIQ) Malaysia. The purpose of this visit is to hold a Sharing Session and Workshop with WAFIQ with the theme “Inter-Country Collaboration for the Development of Islamic Societies in Asia”. This visit is located in Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). This activity was attended by 17 (seventeen) students of S2 PMI, Dr. Hj. Heni Noviarita, M.Si as Vice Director of Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Dr. Fitri Yanti, M.A as Head of Islamic Community Development Master Program, Farida Rahmawati, M.Kom.I as Head of TU Subdivision. Prof. Dr. Rafidah Hanim Mokhtar as the President of WAFIQ warmly welcomed the arrival the members of Islamic Community Development Master Program. There were several series of events, starting with welcoming remark and do’a recitation by Nur Zulaikha Abd Kadir as an Exco of Law and Human Rights of WAFIQ, a brief introduction on Integration of Naqil and Aqli USIM by Dr. Nur Saadah Khair as an Exco of Hadith & Islamic Research of WAFIQ. The next, the President of WAFIQ give a brief presentation about WAFIQ, The Role of WAFIQ in Shaping Policies in Malaysia Concerning Family, Women and Education. “WAFIQ aims to be a platform for women to voice their concerns on matters pertaining to their rights as a wife, mother, family member and employee. WAFIQ engages with governmental bodies and civil society organizations (CSOs) to bring women’s issues to light and to correct injustices in society”. said Prof Rafidah Dr Heni as Vice Director of Postgraduate UIN RIL also give a speech as the representative of Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung. She express her gratitude for welcoming her members in WAFIQ. Also, she hopes this collaborative visit will mark the beginning of closer cooperation among all of us and let us work together to create an enabling environment for women to contribute maximally to community development. Followed by a sharing session in the form of discussion between WAFIQ and Islamic Community Development Master Program especially for students. From the brief presentation from the president, students could response and also ask something that they want to ask about the policies in Malaysia concerning family, women, and education. In this session, each party also could be aware the development societies in Indonesia and Malaysia. The conclusion from the sharing session that has been discussed, community development in Indonesia is apparently more protective of women’s rights compared to Malaysia. This event ended with taking photo together from both parties. Menciptakan Lingkungan Ibadah Ramah Lansia: Desain dan Implementasi Menjadi Tema Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Internasional oleh S2 PMI

Program Magister (S2) PMI Pascasarjana UIN Raden Intan Lampung adakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM), Sharing Session, dan Pendampingan/Fasilitator di Pondok UNAIS, Malaysia dengan tema “Creating an Elder-Friendly Worship Environment: Design and Implementation“. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Selasa, 9 Juli 2024. Rombongan yang terdiri dari Dr. Hj. Heni Noviarita, M.Si selaku Wakil Direktur, Dr. Fitri Yanti, M.A selaku Ketua Prodi S2 PMI, Farida Rahmawati, M.Kom.I selaku Kasubbag TU, Staff dan 17 orang mahasiswa S2 PMI diterima di Aula Pondok UNAIS oleh Prof. Dr. Moh Isa Hamzah yang diwakili oleh Ust. Ilham Alsi. Dalam sambutannya, Ust. Ilham Alsi menyambut baik kedatangan rombongan S2 PMI Pascasarjana UIN Raden Intan Lampung sekaligus memperkenalkan Pondok UNAIS yang merupakan pondok lansia yang terletak di daerah Selangor, Malaysia. Pondok ini didirikan oleh Prof. Dr. Moh Isa Hamzah yang juga selaku pimpinan pondok. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu tindak lanjut dari Memorandum of Agreement atau MoA yang telah ditandatangani oleh kedua belah pihak, Prodi S2 PMI dan Pondok UNAIS pada November tahun 2023 di Pascasarjana UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Scope atau lingkup kerja sama yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini yaitu pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Mahasiswa yang berjumlah 17 orang dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok dengan bertemu 3-4 orang siswa lansia yang akan berbagi cerita dalam sharing session bersama mahasiswa, wadir, ketua prodi dan kasubbag TU. Kegiatan ini disambut antusias oleh para siswa lansia yang hadir. “Hadirnya rombongan S2 PMI semoga dapat memberikan warna baru, kebahagiaan dan keceriaan kepada para siswa lansia yang telah berkenan untuk sharing berbagi cerita kepada kami semua, dan juga semoga silaturahim antara Pascasarjana UIN RIL dan Pondok UNAIS dapat terus terjalin di masa yang akan datang.” ucap wadir.
