“Strengthening Competence “Masters Degree Study Program for PAI UIN Raden Intan Lampung Join National Seminar with Masters Degree Study Program for PAI Sunan Ampel Surabaya”

UIN Raden Intan Lampung & UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya collaborated in a “Join Seminar” with the theme “National Seminar on Reorientation of Islamic Religious Education for Strengthening the Spiritual Dimension in the Digital Era” Monday, October 24th, 2022. The event took place on the 3rd floor of Postgraduate UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya was a form of friendship as well as collaboration between the Masters Study Program of PAI UIN Raden Intan Lampung and the Masters Study Program of PAI UIN Sunan Ampel which was followed enthusiastically by students from both college. Prof. Masdar Hilmy. S.Ag, MA, Ph.D as the Director of Postgraduate UIN Sunan Ampel opened the event as well as warmly welcomed all of students of S2 PAI UIN Raden Intan Lampung who were accompanied by; Prof. Dr. Ruslan Abdul Ghofur, S.Ag., M.Si, as the director of Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Head of the Masters Degree Study Program for PAI UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Dr. Drs. Imam Syafei’i, M.Ag., Secretary of the Masters Degree Study Program for PAI, Meisuri, S.Pd. M.Pd, and Head of Subdivision for Administration Farida Rahmawati, S.Ag., M.Kom.I“Islamic education in this digital era is not only to form a generation of Muslims who are capable of knowledge and skills in mastering IT so that a harmonious and balanced life can be realized.” said the Director of Postgraduate UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Prof. Ruslan as Director of Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung, in between his remarks conveyed the importance of holding today’s seminar “Educational activists, especially those in the field of Islamic education are required to be able to maximize the positive potential contained in the digital world and minimize its negative aspects, this is urgent because the digital world has almost dominated the digital world. Therefore, the topic discussed in today’s seminar is something important for PAI master students as education activists in the future,” said Prof. Ruslan, closing his remarks. As a form of collaboration from this “Join seminar” event, presenting speakers from each college, Prof. Dr. Abd. Rachman Assegaf, M.Ag who is the Head of Masters Degree Study Program for PAI UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya with the material “Strengthening Islamic Religious Education Through Digital Islamic Studies”, while from UIN Raden Intan Lampung, the presenter is Prof. Dr. H. Syarifudin Basyar, M.Ag. whose material focuses on Strengthening the Spiritual Dimension in the Digital Era, namely by referring to Al Quran & Sunnah with deep and thematic understanding in an effort to teach a wisdom and purity of soul. From the student, the presentation of the material about the theme that was delivered by Ms. Agustiana from Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung and Mr. Alfian Nur Jamil from Postgraduate UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Participation of Doctoral Program Islamic Community Development (PMI) Students in the Implementation of the 21st Annual Internantional Conference on Islamic Studies (AICIS)

On 20 – 23 October 2022, students of Doctoral Program (S3) Islamic Community Development, Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung held a PKL (Strengthening Field Competence) to Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara while attending the 21st Annual International Conference on Islamic Studies (AICIS) 2022 which organized by the Directorate General of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia at UIN Mataram. The Director of Postgraduate UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Prof. Dr. Ruslan Abdul Ghofur, M.Si and the Head of the Doctoral Program for Islamic Community Development, Dr. Hj. Rini Setiawati, M.Sos.I also accompanied the students in this activity. AICIS 2022 raised the theme “Future Religion in the G-20” with three main issues, “Digital Transformation, Knowledge Management and Social Resilience which is a response to the latest developments in discourse and the demands of contemporary Islamic studies at the national and global levels today,” said Prof. Ruslan in the core of the remarks from the Minister of Religion at the opening ceremony of AICIS 2022 in Lombok. In the hamlet of Sasak Sade Rembitan which is famous for its traditional woven fabric industry, it becomes a place of observation for Islamic Community Development Doctoral students in carrying out their study visits. One of the woven fabric products that characterize the Sasak tribe is Songket, which is made of gold or silver threads woven with cotton or silk threads. The manufacture of woven cloth in Sade Village starts from spinning cotton into yarn. The yarn is then colored from natural dyes and woven using a loom made of wood and bamboo. The making of two meters long songket takes between two weeks and three months, depending on the complexity of the pattern. In addition to visiting Sade Village to get know the woven fabric industry, students also took part in the Pearl Cultivation Workshop. Lombok pearls are famous marine products and typical souvenirs of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. In this workshop, students are explained the process of making pearls from beginning to the end. This activity was attended by all students and it is hoped that with the whole series of activities, students can apply their experience in developing community industries in their respective environments,” said Dr. Hj. Perkuat Kompetensi Mahasiswa, Prodi PBA Studi Lapangan ke UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta

Senin 17 Oktober 2022, Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Pascasarjana UIN Raden Intan lampung melaksanakan PKL (Penguatan Kompetensi Lapangan) di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Turut mendampingi mahasiswa Pengembangan Kompetensi Lapangan, Dr. Erlina, M.Ag Ketua Program Studi, Sekretaris Prodi Dr. Koderi, S,Ag., M.Pd. Kasubbag TU Farida Rahmawati, S. Ag., M.kom.I Diskusi ilmiah / rihlah ilmiah kolaborasi dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan penulisan artikel jurnal. Sebagai pemateri Dr. Muhib Abdul Wahab. M.Ag selaku Ketua Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Kegiatan ini dibuka oleh dekan FITK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah diwakili oleh Wakil Dekan I yakni Dr. Kadir, M.Pd, dalam kegiatan ini dilaksanakan juga penandatangan kerjasama MoU untuk pengembangan akademik, penulisan, penelitian dan publikasi karya ilmiah Dr. Erlina selaku Ketua Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Pascasarjana UIN Raden Intan Lampung disela sambutannya menyampaikan kiranya dengan adanya pelatihan penulisan jurnal ilmiah ini diharapkan lahirnya karya karya ilmiah yang layak dan bermutu ” mudah mudahan setiap tesis dari mahasiswa bisa lulus dan masuk ke sinta2 ” ujar Dr. Erlina. Wadir Pascasarjana Paparkan Program Unggulan UIN Raden Intan Lampung di Washington DC

Pascasarjana – Wakil Direktur Pascasarjana UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Dr. Heni Noviarita hadiri Roundtable Discussion di Washington DC. Kehadiran Wadir sebagai delegasi Indonesia dalam visiting Professor and Doctors for Join Research with International Tax and Investment yang dipimpin oleh Prof. Didik Rachbini, Ph.D., pada Kamis (13/10) waktu Washington DC. Kegiatan dalam bentuk Roundtable Discussion tersebut mengambil tema “Analysis Policy Studies and Best International Practis”. Tema tersebut diangkat berdasarkan bahwa investasi Amerika di negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines dipengaruhi oleh Policy dari pemerintah setempat. Dr. Heni menyatakan kegiatan tersebut merupakan kolaborasi antara pemerintah dengan lembaga independen seperti ITIC dan Indef. Tujuannya adalah visiting dan join riset dengan berbagai perguruan tinggi yang ada di Amerika Serikat. “Team ITIC terdiri dari The International Nuewu of Asean Research. Selain itu beberapa agenda yang dapat dilakukan oleh lembaga ITIC adalah pengembangan di bidang pendidikan, politik, security affair dan followship program economi dan politik juga join riset bidang pendidikan, sosial dan kebijakan publik”, ujar Dr. Heni melalui sambungan WhatAPP pada Senin (17/10). Ia juga menambahkan, perguruan tinggi dari Indonesia yang berdiskusi antara lain pascasarjana UIN Raden Intan yang diwakili oleh dirinya sendiri sebagai Wakil Direktur Dr. Hj. Heni Noviarita, Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Pendidikan IAIN Manado Prof. Dr. Dra. Rukmina Gonibala, Universitas Pancasila Dr. Hj. Jum Anggriani, SH.MH., Universitas Sumatra Utara Prof Dr. Pujiati, Universitas Veteran Nasional Dr. Sufyati, Universitas Halu Uleo Kendari Prof. Hanna, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar Dr. Azis Muslimin, dan IAIN Cirebon Prof. Dr. Sdang Jumhur. “Masing-masing delegasi memaparkan program unggulan di masing-masing perguruan tinggi. UIN Raden Intan Lampung memaparkan Internasionalisasi, Digitalisasi dan Kemandirian”, ujar Dr. Heni. Roundtable Discussion tersebut dihadiri juga oleh perwakilan dari kedutaan Amerika Serikat, Febriani dan Sri. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Kedutaan Amerika Serikat berjanji akan menindaklanjuti bidang kejasama antar pemerintah dengan lembaga independen seperti ITIC dan The National Bure of Asian Research. Dr. Siti Mahmudah Raih Juara Pertama Nasional Lomba Sayembara Esai

Pascasarjana – Ketua Prodi Program Doktor Hukum Keluarga Islam, Dr. Siti Mahmudah, M.Ag., meraih juara pertama nasional lomba Sayembara Esai Menjadi Penggerak GUSDURian yang diselenggarakan oleh TUNAS pada tanggal 1 sampai 30 September. Dalam sayembara tersebut, disebutkan untuk 30 esai terbaik akan dibukukan dan akan dilaunching pada 15 Oktober mendatang di Surabaya. Tulisan esai yang dikirim berkaitan dengan pengalaman berkesan selama ber-GUSDURian atau selama menjadi penggerak, atau perjumpaan dengan sosok/pemikiran Gus Dur. “Rasanya mau pingsan. Senang sekali. Saat melihat pengumuman, ternyata menjadi pemenang juara esai di urutan nomor 1,” ujarnya saat dihubungi melalui WhatsAp pada Ahad, (16/10). Ia juga menyatakan, begitu bersemangat mengikuti lomba esai tersebut, karena mau dilauching di Surabaya di hapan GusDurian se-Indonesia. “Saya punya pengalaman bersama Gus Dur walau hanya lewat mimpi di tahun 2000 saat sedang studi S2 di Yogyakarta. Saya yakin bahwa mimpi bertemu Gus Dur ingin saya buktikan bahwa itu bukan mimpi abal-abal. Saya mendapat Berkah Gus Dur pasca mimpi itu. Dengan keyakinan itu, saya ingin membuktikannya lagi apakah Berkah Gus Dur itu masih berlaku di hari ini. Maka karya saya berjudul “Berkah Gus Dur”,” cerita Dr. Mahmudah saat ditanya terkait isi dari esai yang diikutsertakan dalam sayembara tersebut. “Ternyata benar. Berkah itu masih berlanjut sampai hari ini. Saya jadi Juara 1, karena Berkah Gus Dur,” pungkasnya. (Abdul Qodir Zaelani)
